Q. Why use Expert Cost Reduction?
A. Negotiating with an existing supplier takes time, and if you are unsure what actually is a good deal, then it is very difficult to find out if you are paying more than you should. This lack of time is the common reason why contract costs go unchecked and your contracts are just renewed. Our specialists understand the market and do the hard work for you. We can perform all contract and price negotiation on your behalf, meaning there is minimal disruption to the everyday running of your business

Q. How much does this service cost?
A. Our cost is based on a percentage of the final cost reduction within the agreed period. As our advice is obligation free, if you decide not to move forward with our recommendations there is no cost to you.

Q. Do you receive a commission from suppliers?
A. We don’t receive commission from suppliers as we prefer to remain independent.

A. All companies can benefit from this service, although the majority of our clients are small to medium size businesses.

Q. What happens if you don’t find any savings?
A. If we are unable to find any savings, you have no obligation to use any of our suggestions. We will only charge if you decide to move forward with our advice.

Q. Can you help if I am already in a contract?
A. Yes, although you may be tied into a contract it can sometimes be cheaper to switch supplier and buy yourself out of your existing contract. We don’t suggest this every time, but this can be a cost-effective option. Also, with our assistance you may find out that you are paying for services that you are not using which can be cancelled during your contract, without penalty.

Q. How can I be sure I will be getting the same level of service?
A. We will only suggest equivalent equipment and services to ensure that you continue to receive high quality performance. All options are discussed with you throughout the process and are not implemented until you are happy with our recommendations.

Q. How long is the contract period?
A. This is normally 12 months, although this can be extended if required or in your best interest.

Q. What information will you need?
A. We will usually request copies of current contracts with terms and conditions, accounts information, and supply costs. We would normally arrange a face-to-face meeting, but due to the current situation with Covid-19 we have changed our processes so we can continue to work with you online and by phone.

Q. Do you negotiate with the suppliers?
A. Once we have analysed your current costs and contracts to identify potential alternatives, we will negotiate with the supplier on your behalf if you are happy with our recommendations.

Q. What if I don’t agree with your supplier choice?
A. We consult with you throughout the whole process and will only begin negotiations once you are in total agreement.

Q. What if I’m already getting the best prices?
A. You have no obligation to use any of our suggestions. In the event that there are no savings that we can show, you would not be charged.

Q. Are any documents I supply confidential?
A. We will never disclose any information or documents to a third party.

Q. What happens after the agreed period?
A. You have the option to extend the agreed period to ensure you are still getting the best prices or simply discontinue the service.

Q. Do you guarantee you will find savings?
A. It would be impossible to guarantee that we would find savings, as you may already have the best prices available. However, this would be very rare and if no savings are found you will have the comfort of knowing you have already secured the best prices available at that time.

Q. Why do you only deal with certain cost areas?
A. We focus on areas that are often overlooked during a broader cost reduction process. Our aim is to concentrate on specific areas and use our expertise and knowledge to obtain the best prices.
